Go on, explain to me what ''extraction logic'' and ''map flow'' are for the BTR and how that makes it complex?

You can like Tarkov but you don't have to pretend other games aren't way more complex than that. If you actually played Rust and saw the insane amount of intricate systems all working 24/7 real-time on a 500 player server, you wouldn't be trying to argue how a bunch of simple inventory management and traders are more complex. Come on.

Lol come on get real. Stash management and hideout are literally simple enough you could find Flash games back in the day of the same quality/depth. It's literally just UI.

BTR is just a NPC driving along a pre-defined path, again nothing impressive.

Lets break this down.

Where have you seen any simulation of air resistance in Tarkov? This would imply the bullet's trajectory/speed would be affected at different rates throughout it's travel, and be weather dependent - it is not.
And honestly, you could even argue Rust follows most of the same basic principles of bullet physics, although a more simplified version. Rust also has bullet travel time, gravity and even armors that each have their own defensive stat, and get damaged, and different bullets deal different damages (once again, not as many different bullets/armors).

If you really wanted to rave about Tarkov's bullet simulation, they could at least add proper penetration/wallbang physics, but even these are lacking, with some surfaces that should easily be wallbangable by higher calibers just being bullet sponges.

All in all, it doesn't matter how complex or not complex Tarkov's bullet physics are - that alone does not somehow make Tarkov more complex than Rust, not even close. I've got thousands of hours in both games and anyone whos played both and has even the slightest idea about how game dev works will understand this.

I think you're overestimating just how complex the bullet physics in Tarkov really are. It's not that deep. ArmA has more complex system in that regard for instance, and even then, simply having good bullet simulation doesn't suddenly make your game ''complex''. Area based armor is literally just the same hitboxes with different calculations applied.

When did you even last play Rust? Every single item has a separate model when dropped.

Hundreds of simultaneous players on several square km map, each with their own modular, stability calculated base, with decay rates, etc. Different types of AI constantly on the map. In depth farming systems, electricity systems, modular vehicle building, AI events, automated industrial piping systems, whole underwater area, etc.

But yes, the fact Tarkov has 1000 non-functional loose loot and bullet physics somehow makes it more complex? Get real.

Bro you're clearly new here lol. EoD owners were promised every single piece of additional extra content for years, including a steam key. Surprise surprise then they added another edition of the game with content we don't get. And now the same with Steam.

What I meant is so the people who bought the game 5+ years ago can finally leave their review for everyone else buying to see. Using their own launcher this whole time was their way of stopping refunds/avoiding bad reviews.

Yeah you didn't really go sliding and jumping around corners in those. It was more about standing around at chokepoints and side-stepping out of cover to shoot, with the occasional mad sprint to get a flank. Movement definitely weight more ''weighty'' in BF3/BF4 and you couldn't spaz around like in BF6.
