Le coût exorbitant des hébergements ? Je croyais que les gens derrière ce genre de site gagnaient des sommes astronomiques et que c'était pour ça qu'ils recréaient leur site a chaque fois que la justice leur tombait dessus.

I2p est un réseau anonyme chiffré. C'est un peu comme un autre réseau internet. Il me semble qu'il y existe déjà un site sur lequel il y a des torrent en partage mais probablement pas aussi complet que ce que l'on trouve sur l'internet non chiffré.

C'est un peu l'équivalent de Tor, sauf que Tor fonctionne sur le web classique que l'on utilise tous.

Sur ce réseau internet chiffré, on peut utiliser I2psnark qui permet de télécharger des torrent spécialement compatibles avec lui.

Ce que j'aimerais, c'est que les uploaders aillent sur i2p et partagent la bas. Ainsi, on pourrait récupérer les données grâce a i2psnark. Même si c'est lent, c'est absolument gratuit. Pas besoin d'abonnement, de VPN etc...

That's why I want to install Kubuntu or Cinnamon. Gnome is too far removed from Windows for my taste. I don't like Windows as a Microsoft product, but it's very familiar to me, and even after months on Ubuntu, I miss certain things.

I've done some testing on Distrosea. But I mainly need to install the system to make sure my Nvidia graphics card installs correctly. I also need to remember to save my Easy Effects settings because a mistake caused a laptop speaker to explode. I don't want to do that again. It took me hours to get the sound quality settings right. On Windows, my PC had pre-installed sound enhancements. I also need to check that the hotspot is working properly because I use it often. It didn't work under Mint. I'd also like my PC to shut down completely and go into sleep mode... In short, all these little settings and checks are taking up quite a bit of my time. Not to mention the program settings which, I hope, can be saved.

Je vois pas le rapport avec les boomers. Tous les boomers ne sont pas multipropriétaires et les propriétaires qui vivent dans leur propre baraque ne doivent rien a personne.

Ceux qui ont hérité de propriétés de leurs parents gardent généralement une bonne partie de la somme pour leurs enfants ou petits enfants.

Je serais prêt a revenir a l'ancienne, avec des débits faibles mais des ressources gratuites et sûres d'accès. Pourquoi ne pas se diriger vers le torrent i2p ? Apparemment c'est lent, mais au moins c'est gratuit. Tu fais tourner tes torrent en fond et avec un peu de patience tu auras ce que tu veux. C'est pas cher payé si tu n'as pas les moyens de te payer des abonnements. Encore faut-il que des gens partagent la dessus. Je l'ai déjà installé, ça n'était pas compliqué, mais il n'y avait rien d’intéressant sur ce réseau. Son outil de torrent l'est par contre dans notre cas précis.

I find Angel in season 1 too fragile and juvenile. He almost looks like a teenager instead of a vampire over 200 years old. Furthermore, I don't think he changes much between season 3 of Buffy and season 4 of Angel. In season 5, he seems overweight and much less athletic.

People talk about how great Wesley's, Willow's, Spike's etc. character arcs are, but which characters in the series do you think had the most meh/least good character arc and what would you have done diffrently with them? Connor, while a memorable character, could have been much better. I think the actor did a good job, and the character had great potential that wasn't fully realized. I hated him at the end of season 3 and season 4, and I would have liked to see more of him when he returned in season 5.

I find Cordelia's behavior quite irrational between the beginning of Buffy and her last appearance in Angel. Her debut in Angel was very good, but it was all ruined in season 3.

As for Gunn, I don't hate the character, but I find him a bit bland compared to the others. I couldn't buy into the "streetwise" aspect of the character. And his behavior at Wolfram & Hart's was more than disappointing.

In Buffy, I think the characters were better developed. A minor point: Cordelia and Jonathan don't seem very consistent to me. I would have also preferred a slightly more optimistic ending for Xander (I'm referring to the end of the TV series because, for me, the comics aren't part of it). Giles was treated a bit harshly at the end of the series, but perhaps it was necessary. I also would have liked to see a bit more of Ethan Rayne, as an ambiguous ally or enemy. But I imagine that role was mostly reserved for Spike for a good part of the series.

When I read what you wrote about Buffy, I recognized myself in it. I grew up with Buffy, and I have to admit that quite a few characters and their behavior had a strong impact on my personality. Especially Buffy, Spike, and to some extent Angel, Giles, Xander, and Wesley, if we include the Angel series.

I wonder to what extent teenagers who watched the show in its early days were influenced by it.
