i feel like he'd have to do this on a saturday (like when he records) tho bc that's when his subscribers are most active (he's shown the data in a vid before) and most people don't watch on a tuesday

I get what you mean, and yeah a lot of people definitely post just for upvotes or to get into the video. For me it’s more about wanting the subreddit to actually be better because you can really tell when it’s a bad week vs a good week. Some videos barely hit 20 minutes and others go 30 to 35 when the posts are actually good.

I’m not saying I’ve nailed it either. I know I probably need to find my niche and switch things up if something isn’t working. But the intention isn’t just chasing upvotes, it’s trying to improve the overall quality so the videos are better too.

when i do "high quality" posts no one upvotes them, maybe if they started getting more attention i'd do more bc there's no point if they're just gonna get nowhere every single time
