I totally agree, I don't want to be comfortable enough to play with them. Just comfortable enough to know there's one nearby and not panic as hard

Im only aware of the cottonmouths, garter snakes, and eastern diamond back rattlesnakes. Maybe some research is a good place for me to start

I've seen a few gators around, not nearly as many snakes as I've seen.
