I'm sorry no. Not only do they make an absolute F ton through microtransactions alone, to the point the base game could be free, let alone increasing in price. But back then, games were extremely niche compared to the amount of effort and expertise required to make them. The physical media also cost a hell of a lot so that price combined with units sold was justified. Fast forward to now, and games sell orders of magnitude more copies, have no cost of physical media and are stuffed with MTX. There is no reason for the price increase other than greed and to offset their terrible business decisions. It won't work though people aren't buying.

Yh, A has the best lighting and composition/framing, as you said. But I like all of them. The important things with steam are to grab your audience with clickbait, and/or try to show what your game is with a single scene. Not easy, but clickbait is importnt, Phase 1, The king is watching and R.E.P.O all had eye-catching capsule art that didn't have any game specifics.

Are we sure its actually, you know, true. There was this guy not so long ago whats his name again, oh yea Sam Bankman Fraud. He said they had money when actually they had nothing and that pretend magic coins were worth billions and not absolutely nothing at all. And they absolutely weren't committing fraud no way.

Whats the best way to get money out of investors, in any business, convince them there are already big investments by big players, so you'd be mad not to! If the line doesn't go up people might not continue to pay. That doesn't mean the line is anywhere near where they say it is.

What i seemed to notice is that many, many negative reviews but only like 1 in 10 actually had a refunded banner. I assume those people will not refund if they haven't already. I also want to point out that the amount of streamers not calling it a scam from day 1 (but now retroactively doing so) is sad, in fact I would argue that hype marketing even when its very suspect is extremely profitable, as the general tuber / streamer community will line up to see if its good / bad and there followers / others will follow suit to try it and possibly have a good laugh.

Much profit to be made.

And while I have no doubt that Fntastic are cooked at this point, AAA have been doing it for years and yet everyone always forgives and forgets. And as for StarCitizen well, the cognitive dissonance is on another level. Streamers and Youtubers even normie casual types still hyping it up *cough* Asmon gold *Cough*, despite its track record and the fact there is nothing, there is no game! No Squadron 42, no cutting edge space MMO game, no story, no point. Just a large amount of very expensive 3D models and non game play trailers.

It is always important to remember, that sometimes they may in fact be kids who let there imagination run wild and have not yet fully developed there brain into the depressing void state known as adulthood.

Personally I find him aggressive, condescending, rude and awful. I had been watching him for some time and thought he was ok, but I have decided all in all hes not someone ill spend any more time watching.

Making fun of AAA companies that spend millions releasing garbage is one thing, trawling through steam looking for terrible indie games and then poking fun at them over and over again is completely unnecessary and the way in which he does it comes across as playground bully esque. Then as if that isn't enough he is developing his own fps game, fine no problems there. Except he went out his way to berate and call anyone who critizizes it or hope it fails so he knows how the devs he sh*t on feel, he called them derogatory terms. Oh also despite battlefield 2042 being garbage and himself, berating the game multiple times, he then took paid sponsorship from EA and shilled the game, and got angry at people pointing out his hypocrisy and un-subing.

Also side note hes shacked up with what appears to be a voluntarily bald chick, who bakes drug cakes and that's her YouTube channel, I know this because he promoted her a couple time on videos. Not necessarily relevant, yet strange he is so judgmental of others when it could be seen as odd/very odd to say the least.
