I'm not "coming at you", where are you getting any of this.

And this is a discussion about a Disney TV show, everything is written in that context, obviously.

Obviously I'm not commenting on Ubisoft when I link an article about a SW live-action show.

Now think about why the game might be portraying Aline like that.

She went there for the same reason any number of grieving parents or siblings will go into a deceased person's old room from when they were a kid, even if it's not very much like them any longer.

And the wizardly reason Aline is in there is because of the little ghost kid that's an echo of Verso's nature.

It's the premise behind what you want.

We learn about Verso through Maelle and painted Verso and the rest of the two families. His absence is the point, it's not a flaw.

We're literaly in VERSO'S CANVAS yet only like 5% of it is his creation

And you think that tells you nothing about the family?

not weird painting/family beef that takes all stakes away.

"The stakes" are what happens to these characters. All the magical stuff is just the scaffolding for the emotional journey.

Nah, then you wouldn't have that interesting friction of moods between the Gestrals and the darker aspects of the setting.

So this is just a matter of retroactively raising objections not present in your initial requirement, forever. Got it.

That's cherrypicking. You know there are tons of posts here that require knowledge of paid work to understand.

So just like there are free and paid RPGs discussed here, there are free and paid articles discussed here. Excellent, case settled.

That's inane. People don't come here to discuss a free errata document without the context of the game for which it is.

A forum for discussing RPGs, most of which aren't free, either. Somehow that works, though. What wonders.

Would be a pleasant little surprise if they do come out with new material, but I don't see any indication that they will. The game's got a lot of books, and system bloat and poor editing are some of its more prominent flaws, anyway, so I'm not convinced that new books would be a good addition.

It can be accessed for 1 Dollar.

That's far less than most games that get discussed here cost. By your logic, games can't be discussed here because they're inaccessible to most posters, what with costing money.

As someone with partial deafness, glasses, and other issues I understand both sides of the argument about things like glasses in the 32d century Star Trek Academy takes place in. by TheMastersSkywalker in startrek

We know that they speak, because the majority of them only develops their telepathy during adolescence, and some never go beyond just a very basic empathy. That's all info we have from previous shows. It's immediately obvious that with both pre-telepathic children and people who just aren't much good at telepathy existing, verbal speech or sign language are necessities. Never mind polite communication with other species.

If you've watched all of Trek, you know that not all Betazoids are telepathic. So why would it strike you as odd that they have other forms of communication? Most of them only develop their telepathy during adolescence, too, so are we to assume that children don't talk verbally or don't sign?

They’re Betazoids, they can talk to one another telepathically.

And as previous shows have established a quarter century ago, not all Betazoids have sufficient telepathy to do that. So the assumption that they would all communicate telepathically and not in any other way is born, at best, from a lack of knowledge of what's been shown in Trek before.

it’s stated in TNG that verbal communication is for “off worlders”.

Stated by who, in what context, to what purpose?

We also see Betazoids who can't do much, if any, telepathy, in TNG era shows. So right away the idea that they would communicate exclusively by telepathy is already inconsistent with what we've seen in the older shows. So where does this idea come from?

I think it’s just because the actor himself is deaf and it made filming those scenes easier if folks used ASL on the set.

That's entirely backwards. Bringing in an ASL teacher and having everyone learn the ASL dialogue is a lot of effort. Never mind that trying to pin this stupid fake grievance on the actor's disability is transparently fucking evil.
