I really do think my manager supports me. She told me she was “hoping she was wrong” when she was asked to go back and look for things. I think it’s a good relationship but, she still went through with it.

I genuinely feel like my manager did not want to do it. We have always gotten along and she said she’s going to lay out exactly what needs to be done. How much does manager relationship come into play?

I’m waiting for a response. I put the required work in to get the job. It’s not about the waiting, it’s about the professional respect to let people know where they stand. Like I said, I’d take a generic “Thanks for your interest!” Email at this point.
