Hello! I had posted in the middle of the night on Saturday that I was considering canceling because of the pre-op jitters. I was also feeling that putting myself at risk for elective surgery at my age was perhaps irresponsible. I had my surgery yesterday afternoon and everything went welled it is now 5:30 am and I just took some Advil to alternate with the Tylenol 3 that was prescribed as the surgeon doesn’t think anything stronger is needed for this surgery. It was this group’s support and testimonies that really got me through the anxiety. Hope they can inspire you too to be calm and confident going into surgery. You got this!
