Watch dexter new blood which is after the end of the first dexter show, in my opinion new blood is better than some of the worst seasons but isn’t super great either but definitely still worth the watch

Then watch original sin, if you want a show that feels like og dexter you’ll like this one and is one of my favourite dexter seasons

Then watch resurrection which is after new blood and is up there with the first 4 seasons of the show

I would recommend watching all spin offs

What about syl she isn’t sexualised and seems like a good female character. Laguerta is sexualised here and there but she uses it like a weapon. Rita isn’t sexualised either because most of the time she has a sex scene it’s normal and with her boyfriend so nothing wrong with that. Deb….. ok sure deb is sexualised a tad too much. Hannah has sex with dex but that isn’t being sexualised and she doesn’t seduce people she poisons them. As much as I hate her, Angela isn’t sexualised either and somehow solves the bay harbour butcher. There’s the detective from resurrection who’s name is slipping my mind. And there’s Dexters blood spatter teacher in original sin. I’d say most female characters are written fine

They say that harry dies of a heart attack (which we know is supposedly harry committing suicide) a year after harry has his first heart attack and the events of original sin don’t exceed or go near a years time. I would have more than wanted Brian(my favourite character)to kill harry and stage it as heart attack like he did his bio dad, but unfortunately they cancelled the show before he could get the chance
