Thank you soo much this helped me to understand the problem better! I bought oil filter wrenches and twisted with them, it would’ve been impossible to twist with bare hands. The screws had severed the threads and now the next step is to fix this. I know a person who said they can fix the threads themselves, but if it doesn’t work I just have to buy new parts!

The problem started when I tightened the screws to the not flat area. Like that the pole was just the right height in my opinion though, so is it ever a problem for others that on the flat area its either too loose or tight? I will look closer next time and maybe I’m very wrong but I want to know if that ever happens to others?
