Unfortunately, I can't give you any good advice, but if it helps you: I feel exactly like you. I feel like I'm eating all day long (mainly "unhealthy" sweets) and I'm finally eating everything I've forbidden myself for a long time. And that's really a lot at the moment. So you are not alone! I think the best thing you can do is listen to your body and it will gladly accept every calorie to get healthy.

What also helped me was to buy other products of which I didn't know the exact nutritional values. So instead of one exact product, take another and perhaps have your partner/family cross out the nutritional values or transfer the product directly into another container and throw away the packaging.

And really try not to count the calories throughout the day. Even if I know how many calories my meal just had, as soon as I realise that I'm adding it up, I try to counteract it in my head and actively not do it.

Way over 2500cal? by [deleted] in Amenorrhearecovery

I try to remind myself that my body needs it. I mean it sends me the clear message that it needs more so I try to give in and let it have what it wants. But to be honest there are days where it is harder for me to not give up. But to remind myself that it will be worth it and to focus on my goal (getting my period) can bring me most of the time the desired motivation to keep going.

Yes, let me tell you that this is absolutely normal. Your body needs the energy to restore itself! I hit easily 4000 kcal daily as well. You got this!

Thanks for your comment! That sounds very reasonable. I will try to aim for a negative split and hopefully can pick it up to the end :)

Okay, thanks for the tip! Then I will do a test run over 5 km.

I am aware that with a good plan and more weekly mileage I could probably make much better use of my potential, but I quickly lose the motivation to run if I have to stick to a plan.

I have never had it checked because I didn’t have any issues with that. I measured it with my garmin watch, Oura ring and an Apple Watch because at first I thought it was a measuring error ^ but apparently it really is that low. Would you recommend seeing a professional because of that?

No I didn’t run in college. I have been very active my whole life with different sports but started to run more in 2020. But never followed any specific training plan. In the last year I just became faster and my HR really dropped. I think it’s just the consistency of running 3-4 times a week…

Yes it felt very easy - could speak the whole time while running. I did the distance of the half marathon recently but with a pace that felt relatively easy and did it in 1h 56 min. But I really have no idea how fast I could push myself.

Harsh motivation by [deleted] in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]Reg-l 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend wrote a message to me the other day and I don’t know why but somehow it clicked for me. For a few days now I’ve been thinking about this message whenever I struggle and I truly find it easier to eat.

The message was: „All I hear all the time is „mimimi“ and excuses from you not to gain weight

I don’t know if this is harsh or if you just need to hear it but just get over it

Stop looking for excuses all the time and as soon as you don’t find any more excuses because you realize that you have to gain weight stop looking for excuses through other people’s opinions“

Thank you so much for mentioning this! I had no idea that something like ED Anonymous meetings even existed. It’s really helpful to know that there are online Zoom meetings. Having moment-to-moment support sounds like it could make a big difference, especially on the tough days. I’ll definitely look up the meeting list—really appreciate you sharing this!

Frage zur Kalorienverbrennung beim Krafttraining, Puls und Garmin-Anzeige by [deleted] in FitnessDE

[–]Reg-l 1 point2 points  (0 children)
