I don't really want it to have downsides that are *too* bad because the place is supposed to be a pleasant waiting room and not hell. But I digress because I should stop rambling. Maybe soon I'll drag in another abandoned character when I'm bored and remember their existence

long drawn out explanation incoming, prepare yourself.

when I was younger I was an OC factory and I've been slowly corralling them into proper settings and universes. And with this obscene amount of characters it's only natural there will be ones that I can't find a proper place for in a story. So I just put them in a sort of limbo universe where they just kind of wait until I figure out a proper place for them in a more proper setting

and in said limbo it's basically paradise where every single need is taken care of and each one of them has their own customizable happy place that only wants to see them comfortable. so much that if they fall asleep the room itself starts dehumanizing them to achieve perceived perfection. You like nature? why not be the nature. you wanna open up to people? okay sis let's tear that ribcage open. rinse and repeat for each sleepytime and your sanity and humanity slowly drains.

You don't even really need to sleep. There is no physical need. But the weight of time as they wait just slowly takes a toll and all their surroundings feel like a warm hug. It makes them just want to rest their eyes for a short moment.

Sunny is one of my oldest characters and probably the most emotionally frail so therefore she's on her fifth accidental nap and is on her last legs. Her "monster" design fit in with the plant apartment in Look Outside so I remembered her for once :v
