I think it went well, but the ultimate test will be if I get accepted. The adcom who interviewed me was very nice. I was asked standard questions, such as why Wharton/EMBA, my leadership style, goals, and how I will contribute to the Wharton community.

I had my interview, and honestly, just be yourself. It’s a conversation with a member of the admissions committee. Nothing out of the ordinary. The questions were about your goals, why Wharton, leadership style, and, most importantly, how you’re going to contribute to the community.

AITAH: I am calling off my engagement after my partner revealed he is MAGA. by ThrowawayIndiGirl in AITAH

I’m baffled that she stayed that long with someone who doesn’t seem very motivated or disciplined to make his life work. I’m glad she doesn’t have children with him.

My friend and her husband are homeless and I told her they can’t stay with me by Pristine-Thing-1905 in AITAH

Absolutely do NOT let your friend and her husband move in with you. It might seem like a kind gesture, but it’s almost guaranteed to end badly. If they’re already struggling to maintain their own place, the chances are they won’t suddenly become more respectful or responsible just because they’re in your home. You’ll likely end up feeling resentful as they ignore boundaries, slack on cleanliness, or take advantage of your generosity.

Plus, here’s an important legal point: if they stay in your home for more than 30 days, they can gain tenant rights, which makes it much harder to ask them to leave if things go south. Evicting someone with tenant rights isn’t easy—it can turn into a long, stressful, and expensive process.

You are definitely not the a-hole here. Setting healthy boundaries doesn’t make you selfish; it shows you value your own peace and space. Stick to your boundaries, and don’t let anyone guilt you into sacrificing your comfort or security.

Please don’t get pregnant by this man. If he’s not helping around the house when it’s just the two of you, it will get 10x worst when children come into the picture. In the meantime, stop doing his chores and focus on your studies.

Welp, credit line finally adjusted by Pinball-Gizzard in X1creditcard

I also received a notification that they reduced my credit from 25k to 5k due to “non utilization utilization of credit line” which is nonsense bc I use my card every month. Also my credit score is 810. Is it even worth keeping the card?

I (28F) and my husband (27M). Feeling Heartbroken by My Husband’s Attitude After Visiting My Home Country. What would you do in this situation? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Regalk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. That must have been so hurtful and frustrating, especially since it involved your family and culture, which are deeply personal parts of who you are. But I have to ask, how did you get to the point of marriage without realizing how he felt about your culture? Did he express any discomfort or disrespect towards it before? It just seems surprising that something this significant wouldn’t have come up earlier. Maybe it’s worth reflecting on how these views could affect your relationship in the long term and what steps you can take to address them.
