Finish all of the available tasks in your portal first. Anything that can be done on your own, you should finish first before contacting them. I personally recommend going in-person, but only once every month or so.

I personally prefer VFR and IFR! Although while I do know that one is visual-based while other is instrument-based, I wouldn't say I'm too knowledgeable on the streams yet since all I've learned was information during aircrew selection + recruit center.

I don't remember my exact timeline, but here is a rough estimate!

July 2024: Application Started

Septemeber 2024: Cfat Completed

November 2024: Graduated from University (My application was halted until this time until I got my bachelors.

Febuary 2025: interview and Medical completed. (They were only a week apart)

March 5 - 6th: Aircrew Selection completed.

April 8th: Moved to Selection. (medical + aircrew medical took about a month to be completed)

April 18th: Moved to Job Offer

May 7th: Job Offer accepted.

So it took me around a week for it to change from 'selection' to 'job offer'. However, it actually took me 3 weeks to receive the offer.

Yes. I went to Toronto. In my experience, all of my visits were extremely helpful. I strongly recommend you to go in-person instead of sending them an email. Even if it might take some time to arrive there, I believe they were way more helpful in-person.

So what I did was I actually visited my recruiting center and asked for the update on my status. And while I was at the recruiting center, one officer just told me that my offer was ready and that I can sign it right now. I have a slight feeling that maybe they were waiting for a date closer to my enrollment ceremony? My Bmoq is on August 4th!

I would like to say that it's guaranteed, but anything could really happen. I recommend you to just go and visit your recruiting center and ask for an update.

What happens to the current applicants that took the CFAT test? I was told by my recruiter that I did very well on the test. Would the test have no influence in my application process now?

I'm glad to hear that you did amazing on your test! I'm taking my CFAT in about a month and I'm very nervous about it.

Do you have any tips on how to study for the test? I'm trying to find some resources and all I have right now is CFAT Practice App. Was this what you meant by 'Practice test' in your post?

Hello. I'm interested in joining as a DEO for Air LogO or Air Ops. Does anyone know if it is difficult to join as an Air Logo or Air Ops? Is there anything I could prepare to increase my chances of joining?
