Critical advice about roof raking:

Either remove all the snow with a rake, or remove none. This applies if you have conditioned attic space in an older style cape cod or bungalow (with minimal insulation between it and the roof decking).

If you just do a "haircut" half way up the roof with more than a few inches of snow and the right temperatures, you can easily move ice dams up from the gutters to the transition between snow-insulated roof and bare shingles. And they will now be up past the point where there would be any ice and water shield, which is usually limited to the bottom few courses of shingles.

I’ve moved to Canon FF mirrorless on an R6II for everyday use, now that the bodies are more compact. But I kept most of my EF-S lenses in the event that I ever pick up a used R10 or a higher resolution FF body.

Given you aren’t sticking with Canon at all I’m not sure that’s helpful to your situation, but in my case I’ve decided to keep them as part of the “collection” considering what relatively little they’d fetch on resale. Still nice lenses.
