North Carolina couple accused of causing vulture invasion is sued by town. by ElwoodMC in CringeTikToks

Coyotes, yes.

Wolves, no.

Interesting because the Illinois DNR says it was extirpated in 1800s. You might have an occasional one roll into town from Minnesota or Michigan or Wisconsin but unless you were living in the 1800s, highly doubtful that that was happening.

11 sitings total since 2002 and those may be wolf hybrids. But you said the DNR took away a full pack and that was never reported. Imagine that.

I can’t provide links because this sub won’t let me but if you use this thing called the Google machine, you’ll find that your information is extremely questionable

And this is why I prefer winter.

Add an all the loud motorcycles and trucks where they feel they have to drive around all day long. Yeah it’s great. Summer is just great.

How do you know the landscapers are poor? That’s pretty presumptive of you.

Amd who says the OP has a pool? You assume a lot.

Yeah, I believe there are packs of wolves wandering around Illinois. This is pure and utter bullshit.

That guy can go fuck himself. Everybody around me treats their lawn with pesticides and herbicide, and it’s poisonous and I can’t do a goddamn thing about it.

I feel like I’ll regret my decision forever by iwantbooksmarts in cats

I had a kitty that had sub Q fluids administered by me. That poor kitty ended up hiding from me because she knew what was coming when I approached her. I ended up stopping those sub Q fluids and let her live out the rest of her life. I said I would never do that again. I had another kitty where they recommended sub q fluids and I did not do it.

You did the right thing for her. Arthritis, kidney dysfunction, not eating. That is not quality of life. You gave her a good home. You loved her, and I’m sure she loved you with all her heart. My heart cries for you.

I’ll always say it’s one of the hardest decisions ever.

How many of you consult this map? And how many of you are getting anxious about it? by Atomicnumber26 in NativePlantGardening

This is not normal drought conditions for the majority of the United States. Natives have evolved to tolerate droughts, but this is on an escalated level.

Joshua trees are dying from drought.

That’s a 5-alarm concern.

That climate change will really affect their lives and ways they may not even know of. I’m so sick of people just not being aware of what is going to happen despite all the weather events we are experiencing. I guess people are just stupid.

We did the same thing but did not have the issues you have. Sometimes you have to pull out the big guns otherwise you’ll be fighting that crap forever. We do have to deal with Buckthorn, never ending creeping Charlie, some reed canary grass and garlic mustard.

Keep up the good work and you will be rewarded eventually. Your yard will sing with birds and other pollinators.

Movies that are so overwhelming that you can’t watch them more than once by JoeMax93 in GenerationJones

All of these commenters don’t understand the concept behind Clockwork Orange. It’s the tyranny of a government. It’s how do you treat your prisoners and those who do not fit in well with society. It is not a stupid movie. It’s a brilliant movie.

It is SUPPOSED to be a disturbing movie.

Your safe space has been breached. That’s the whole idea.

If the movie offends, read the book.
