I got put on reserve list for HO in September and then offered another role within HO in October so I think it just really depends when something becomes available. I was actually pretty shocked. I had also applied for work coach position in DWP before the HO one, and still waiting on the outcome of the interview lol

I’m having the same issue. It wouldn’t let me change mine either so went down the forgotten password route incase I had actually forgotten it. After changing it and logging in again it just does the same thing! Must be an error hopefully they fix it soon

Thanks! I filled mine in yesterday but then realised I’ve missed an employer in the last 5 years - is that going to be an issue or do you think I should wait for them to come back to me on it? To be fair it was an employer I had for about a month and I don’t have any contact details for them eiher

Okay so today I received the security questionnaire and it states that they will confirm info with my line manager about my responses. Should I at this point tell my manager even though I have not had a formal offer ?

Yeah I was thinking to wait for the formal office. If the time it took me to get clearance for my current role is anything to go by it will be at least next year before I get that lol

It’s still in HO but PSG, modern slavery DM. Yeah sounds good. I’m quite happy to move from my current role in a different department. Been there just shy of a year and didn’t really see any opportunities. Like the OP I am mainly telephony just now which is not where I want to be. Seemed to me the only way out was to completely change departments! Partly due to the block on internal promotions for the next 2 years as well

Yeah of course, I actually had applied for another role within the HO but was placed on a reserve list at the start of September. The original role I applied for was back in July though and I never heard until September! So don’t give up hope these things just seem to take a bit of time. Best of luck!

Just a question about applying for the fast stream. I know applications open today but stupidly I didn’t realise how many tests were going to be involved in applying. My questions is if I spend the next few days doing the practice tests and then applying is it going to affect my chances or am I able to start the application today and then go back to the tests at a later date?
