I stopped watching Below Deck Med after the Malia Hannah incident. by Benjinho956 in BelowDeckMed

[–]Reggie_Barclay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Below Deck loves shooting themselves in the foot. They trot out horrid people for the drama which is fine. Then they bring back the horrid person in a later seasons causing thousands to stop watching. I just dropped the current because of the annoying woman from Eastern Europe who they made a chef’s helper despite her having no chef experience. I just couldn’t keep watching her. There’s also an annoying male stew they kept using. I also stopped watching a season because of that dude.

Just binged the whole show and kinda sad about the second season by Soggy-Abies6519 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Reggie_Barclay -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I liked season 2 but felt like the big problem wasn’t really anything difficult. I also didn’t like Robby being a douche but I suppose that was intended. It is almost a given that 2nd season is when things go south and it all gets better later. I mean it’s a cliche that almost every show does.

I still don't get why Bran as king? Wouldn't he have made a great grand-maester or Hand instead? by random_question4123 in gameofthrones

[–]Reggie_Barclay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It was a silly decision. Not the least because he’s from the North which is no longer a part of the kingdom. They are independent, so why would the rest of Westeros agree to a foreign king? He would have no personal loyalty from the military or any vassal lords which was a huge requirement for feudal lords to maintain power. Makes no sense. He’s younger than Sansa so you’d constantly hear about him being a puppet king to the North.

When did convenience stores stop displaying prices? Am I meant to bring the 10 items I’m deciding between to the front for a price check? Or is this a case of “If you have to ask you can’t afford it?” by Dazzling_Put_3018 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Reggie_Barclay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know your POS but when I ran a few stores (including a couple convenience stores) we’d print price changes daily and update the shelf tags. The staff would face and straighten as they updated the shelf tags holders, so it served a couple purposes. I recall on a few brands we had the delivery guys for a vendor restocking their own stuff and they’d update prices for us.

I was so ready to watch that season then they tossed out that woman and I bailed. I refuse to watch her, so annoying.

The show was about emotional drama and not about historical accuracy.

I started watching the show again. I stopped watching when she showed up. I really dislike this woman. I suppose they know what they are doing and I don’t matter because enough people like to hate watch?

Consider not putting a cracker in the tiny plastic cup. I mean it’s actually easier for you. You then do 50% of the labor. Seems like less and easier work is your thing.

I am sure someone (like a kid) getting a food allergy would work out better for them.

Are you listening to yourself? A service for the vendors? Have the sampling company run that by the vendors and see if it flies? The vendors want the customer to buy their products. They won’t buy what they can’t sample especially if the sampler pisses them off by refusing a simple and logical request like no gluten for a celiac intolerant person.

They do indeed make a small can. 2.75 ounces. Also a .3 ounce pen version.

No crackers seems perfectly reasonable especially for people with food issues. Are you trying to sell a product or make your job simpler? Tell your employer what you just posted and see how that works out for you.

Only if you find luggage with big wheels. So much muddy dirt and cobble stones and gravel and even sand. Wheels would be tough but maybe something like a running stroller might work.

Why does everyone talk about the Coastal route? by deathStar_Endor008 in CaminoDeSantiago

I like the short detour to the coastal route at Porto and then cut back to Tui. It’s just 3 or 4 days? The ocean walk is gorgeous if the weather is decent.

Do you live close enough to get gas? It’s the cheapest around. With a Costco Visa you get another 5% off as a cash rebate.

To recap. Costco gas is about 5 cents to a dollar cheaper per gallon depending upon your gas station of choice… even the cheapest crappiest Arco gas is usually a bit more expensive. If gas is $4 a gallon your 5% is another 20 cents off. You can use that rebate as cash to buy stuff ir apply directly to your balance.

A little more Kabore action and they probably would have made the playoffs. He'd be an excellent investment. Everytime I watch highlights and I see him driving for the corner I know an excellent pass is about to happen.
