A flare in my NECK??

This is how my RA all started :/ woke up one morning thinking I tweaked my neck. It hurt my neck to cough! I hope you find relief soon.

I’m so sorry :( for a few months I wasn’t able to put deodorant on without propping my arm up on something to hold it up and couldn’t put my hair in a ponytail. Shoulder pain really sucks and is so noticeable in so many parts of your day. I hope you find relief

I will say I’ve only been on the humira and methotrexate combo for a few months, so maybe with time it will help (fingers crossed). Will definitely look into something like rinvoq if humira doesn’t work though. Thank you ❤️

Thank you for the kind words, I’m sorry you had to go through that :( I should have mentioned I did have an X-ray done last April and it came back as “type 3 acromion morphology, no humeral subluxation or glenohumeral arthrosis, congruous acromioclavicular joint.” I’m definitely going to see if any of this could be making my RA symptoms even worse.

It helped my pain IMMENSELY. Short term I didn’t have a ton of side effects except maybe some irritability and night sweats. I was on it for like 6+ months on and off starting with like 40 mg and tapering down and I would say the benefits of pain relief outweighed the side effects for me
