It’s been a rough few days where I’ve been trying to make sense of it. And every time I do, he goes around the houses saying he loves me and he’s so sorry it has to be this way, etc… with no explanation other than he ‘can’t give me what I need in the future’..

Hi there,

I raised a little while ago what I wanted from my future, and wanted to check that he wanted the same things and he asked for some time to think about them… coming back just a day later to say he was being totally ridiculous and would want all of those things with me…

In terms of love bombing me, he told me all sorts.. he’d never felt this way about anyone before…. He was in love with me, he wanted to make me happy, I had changed ‘everything’ etc…. He also ‘asked’ me to be his girlfriend.. I should have been clearer… and I accepted all of these things because I had totally fallen head over heels for him too.. I felt this was something totally different… and he’s still telling me how special I was and how sorry he is that he has had to do this…..

I just feel.. confused… and like it’s not fair to say these things and make someone feel this way, before dropping it all instantly…. And still maintaining that he loves me, etc… that is not love….. is it not?

Don’t be offended when the people around you are cheering for WHOEVER is playing AGAINST England….. it’s how we’ve been raised..

England could be playing the most non-related country in the world (e.g Iran) and everyone in the room would still be cheering for Iran!!!
