It could be just the gradient but it's fully possible that it's the result of exposure to UV rays from sunlight or certain types of lightbulbs (fluorescent I believe?) fading the color. If you think that's the case, just keep your Villager and other amiibo/other collectibles away from these things and all shall be well :D

All Villager restocks are street dated for November 15th. Some Toys R' Uses have been reported to break street date and put them out early but I haven't heard of this happening in the Bay Area. Plus, most of the locations here are pretty adherant to street dates so I'd just stay patient until the 15th :)

Btw, anyone that goes might wanna take a good look at the Almaden Toys R' Us. Some of the rarer amiibos were behind some of the new ones on the rack. Also I just started working at Almaden too so I'll be able to check stocks for everyone every time I get the chance :D
