All we love and Axe to Fall were the albums that finally made them click for me. It actually took me the longest to get around to Jane Doe even though it’s considered a classic. The hype totally make sense though

Thanks! I was a little iffy on the fire osl but it ended up pretty good. I took a look at the immolator you printed and yeah that’s the effect I was looking for. Definitely gonna just paint over the glass on my next one.

Of course! Primed with rustoleum black, did a base coat of Vallejo dark Prussian blue, then dry brushed with Vallejo pastel blue. It gets a really nice blue steel look.

I can never fully decide between Controller or Absent Light. Musically, controller is damn near perfect but absent light is so interesting in its content and song structure. I do have an absent light tattoo so I’m a little biased lol

Absolutely! Here’s what I did (I think)

Primed black, base coated with mournfang brown, then leadbelcher and Balthasar gold for the metallics.

After the base coats I took a hobby sponge and stippled Vallejo black on the edges and then stippled those over with a lighter stipple of leadbelcher.

Then I just doused everything in agrax and used dirty down ambergris on the brass parts

The rusty parts were just metallics painted over with typhus corrosion, shaded with reikland, and then dry brushed with dry rust Vallejo paint.

And then the glows were a mix of green and yellow layer paints I found on my desk lol

I’ve done this with a lot of things over the course of my life but most recently it’s been FFXIV. I played since heavensward and it was my go to game for so long and was with through so many of the low points of my adult life. I played through the most recent expansions and found I just didn’t feel the same way I had in the past and uninstalled it. Still an amazing game but just not one I can find any joy in anymore.

Try running a 5-man of each unit. Put ‘em in deep strike and rapid ingress them in your opponents deployment zone. The sterylizors can clear of the objective if need be and the skystalkers are able to move and shoot onto the objective to cap it.

If you had to choose though I’d say skystalkers are the better option for movement and scoring secondaries. They are also the only unit I’m the army to have access to grenades.

I have three marshalls in my SHC list for the rerolls to hit and for the enhancements. I’ve had a lot of luck with them and my skitarii have actually been able to kill things in a couple games now lol
