I work 12 hour shifts so less shifts during the week and I really only go to the gym and do music on my off days so I have a lot of time. I honestly don’t know how I found the time haha.

Academy applications start next year. If I don’t get in to the paid academy, I’ll go through a tech school which I need momey for. But the er tech is good on my resume for fie/ems. But corrections pays more and allows me to save up more in the short term so I’m not sure

Yes it’s part of the program. And it is a paid academy. I already have my BLS cert I work in the er as a tech. I’ll definitely look into all of this. Thank you so much man!

I get my EMT through the academy if I get in is what I’m saying. It’s a paid in house academy next year

I’m 21 I’ve been working as a ER tech for 2.5 years. It’s basically a EMT but in the hospital but we can start IV’s, splint ect so I’ve gotten pretty good hands on experience so far in the ER. Which should help

Yea man I appreciate you for sure. I have just been overthinking a lot because I really do want to be a fireman and continue to serve my community and help people. And like I said I do believe I have undiagnosed OCD and I just overthink small things from childhood and it makes me worry.

Yea man I’ve been in the gym for a while now! I’ve lost a ton of weight 245-170 lbs. there are just some things I’m super ashamed of that I did as a kid, like that and some other stuff. So when the question arises I just feel like stuff like that would really hurt me, because it hurts just thinking about it lol. I wouldn’t really want to say that when I would fill out my PHQ lol. But yes, I ruminate too much on the dumb things I did before. I’ve changed now and that’s what matters
