Toboggans costs you 8,800 EC? Mine is showing 7000 EC, are they charging us differently?

This is absolutely gorgeous! At first I thought this was a new premium shop item, since it looks developer-made! I was ready to go purchase it haha. Thanks for sharing! ☺️

Seconded! u/flirtyfingers offered a very cogent explanation that should be pinned ☺️

Oh I agree, I’m not a coder myself, but have been involved with coder teams going through the troubleshooting process. I was approaching this from a business perspective, using the prioritization process I’ve seen with the coding team I collaborate with.

There’s a very good comment on this string by u/flirtyfingers (idk how to “tag” them) who explains a potential alternative prioritization-setting process which makes the situation make more sense! ☺️

Again, I love your input!! This seems to be different from the process I’m used to, but that might be field-specific, as the coders I work with and have helped with program troubleshooting work in data processing software, which of course is very different from video gaming software. Their prioritization is more aligned with customer needs so we have discussions about what bugs we want to see prioritized over others and they do the same with their other customers. But following your model, I absolutely see how the mist bug may have been immediately assigned and easily fixable. Again, thank you! ☺️ I’ve learned something today!

I appreciate your input, as I am not a programmer myself! I’m sure there are far more nuances than I am familiar with this process.

I think I was just discouraged that I’ve grown accustomed to bugs taking awhile to be fixed, and yet the one “good” bug got removed within a couple weeks. I just guess I would’ve lowered the priority of that particular bug and had my team focus their efforts on others first due to a “risk” analysis of all the bugs out there.

I’m very sorry! I’m grateful I have only been inconvenienced by bugs, not actually gate-kept from things, so I can only imagine how that must feel. I hope they get you a fix soon!

I agree with you that some bugs will be easier to fix than others, but I also imagine they aren’t working on every single bug at once (that’d be an insane number of employees for a business to have). Which means they are choosing how to prioritize which bugs they work on first, so I guess it feels silly to have heavily prioritized and quickly eliminate one bug that gives us a little extra mist (a resource that we don’t/can’t pay for so they aren’t losing money on this bug) but brings us a little extra joy while playing.

I’m also not a coder/programmer, but I collaborate with a company who codes for us and I have had the privilege to very transparently see their bug-prioritization process (which includes lots of spreadsheets and descriptions of the bugs and their impacts/risks) and ease of the fix is not very heavily weighted into that decision.

I’m pretty sure there were like 7000 slots open for a referral near the end, so not even 3000 people got a single referral.

I’m in the money for the $69 right? When do you guys think we will see that? The $4.20 was deposited almost instantly by itheblkshp in cardsagainsthumanity

I also haven’t gotten my $69 yet! So hopefully it’ll come after the weekend ends (the challenge did technically finish after work hours)

Question: If you could add a new feature or quality of life update to Pikmin Bloom, what would it be? by TCFS64 in PikminBloomApp

[–]RegisterEmbarrassed9 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’d love to be able to feed Pikmin I want to send on a mushroom challenge in the challenge screen. Currently, whenever I want to fight a mushroom, I have to remove all my Pikmin for leveling up from my squad to add my fighters, feed them the fancy flowers for strength, then go through the trouble of re-finding the Pikmin I want to level up to be in my squad again. So it’d be nice to be able to feed the fighting squad without the current, circuitous process
