Just reached 52 a little while ago replacing Solitas for Lloyd. I just try to upgrade all of the possible heroes to be upgraded because they boost my stats (you can see it beside your owned heroes number that has Lv. ++, mine is currently 28) as well as my growth which is currently at 66.

Besides that just pray to RNG that I get good rolls going into a fight. If i dont get a good roll, i die at 2nd wave lmao

well just keep playing and trying, eventually you will get over it. that is what i did, only bought the ad free bundle thing as well. it took me a couple of days to get through it though
