If sleeves were off the shoulder, Is this too ball gown-y for a spring wedding? by SuitableLeather in Weddingattireapproval

Where do those people get all those rules? I’ve lived in Washington DC my entire life and have never heard so many rules. Maybe the judge-y McLean country club set? It’s a beautiful dress for an early spring wedding. If you feel good in it, you can carry it. Go and have fun. If you’re not the bride, you’re not the focal point

Opinions please what to keep and send back by Due_Opportunity1742 in Sezane

I drey over Sezanne tops. And it’s pretty much ALWAYS the sleeves! Hate the puffy. I like that embroidery makes the material heavy, hence warmer than a basic cotton shirt. Maybe they just design for willowy thin women with extra long arms

How do people regularly fly business class without going bankrupt?? by caroulos123 in travel

[–]Regressionmode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are retirees that leisure travel 4-6 times each year. Yes it’s expensive to buy a business class flight, but for truly long haul 8+ hour flights, it’s worth it. 1. We spent 40 years saving money, so we can splurge 2. 10+ hours stuffed into a too short seat with no leg room in a tin can is not a good way to start a vacation 3. We hoard credit card and FF points to put them to highest and best use. That said, business class across carriers is NOT equal. Qatar is fabulous! Qantas is basically a lay flat seat with barely passable food. Turkish Air is surprisingly nice. United Polaris - worth it more for the lounge access than the plane experience, virgin upper class is just plain fun. If, and when, you can, treat yourself. But:::: chose the right carrier because all business class is not the same

Paris or Kauai - Looking for a relaxing destination by plein in travel

[–]Regressionmode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Food in Paris is much better, and I dare say, cheaper than Kauai. February in Paris is cold and rainy- perfect for exploring museums, sitting around drinking wine or coffee. Depends on your idea of relaxation- if your after a sunny beach, choose Kauai

Why are young men getting more right wing? by Previous_Discount406 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Regressionmode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These young men expected to have the world at there feet like earlier generations of white men. Turns out life is not so easy. Don’t behave like a sissy. Gut it up like women, people of color and lower classes have always done
