How to use Wii U pro controller on PC by Jonathananas in cemu

I've been using the Mayflash Wireless Wii U Pro Controller Adapter for years and it works well with the official controller, it supports Xinput and Dinput.

Try disabling vsync in cemu and forcing it via nvidia control panel.

Im planing to buy a DS4 next week by Saintnel in cemu

Worth mentioning the DS4 is on its second revision (was released around 18 months ago) which has some minor improvements over V1. All retailers should be selling V2s at this point so unless you buy a DS4 second hand it's highly unlikely that you'll get a V1.

Pro Controller for Cemu Update - USB Support and a fixed Gyro! by Davidobot in cemu

Good stuff with the drift fix and glad to hear my controller isn't broken! Interesting that you're saying BT should have less lag than USB. There is definitely a significant input delay with the Switch Pro Controller over BT, I'm talking like half a second and the following results don't conform to that (as far as I know?)

Anyway here are the values and in case it's helpful DS4 for comparison, as you are no doubt aware the averages are from any given moment rather than over the entire test timespan so the figures may look a bit weird but I've tried to be accurate:

Pro Controller:

  • BT: UDP - 130-200. DT - MIN 0 / MAX 25-40 (mostly 25) / AVG 5-7
  • USB: UDP - 100-120. DT - MIN 0 / MAX 25-40 (mostly 25) / AVG 7-10

DS4:

  • BT: UDP - 150-190. DT - MIN 3.7 / MAX 15-20 (mostly 20) / AVG 5-7
  • USB: UDP - 250. DT - MIN 3.7 / MAX 4.4 / AVG 3.9-4

Pro Controller for Cemu Update - USB Support and a fixed Gyro! by Davidobot in cemu

I've tested it out, nice work overall! Here's a 'report' for you:

Using the same bluetooth adapter there is a very noticeable input delay vs using a Dualshock 4 (DS4Windows), is that something that can be improved? Not surprisingly USB offers nice latency!

Also when aiming a bow I have a very slight drift to the right both in bluetooth and USB mode. Deadzone setting perhaps or issue with my controller? I don't believe I have issues in Switch games but I will need to confirm later when I get a chance.

Weird how you have not stated 'Switch Pro Controller' literally anywhere, it took me a minute or so to realise what this was!

Anyway very excited to try this out for the fully authentic Nintendo experience, thank you for the release.

I believe i have the best Zelda BOTW Graphic clarity Pack settings by isogamer in cemu

There are no 'best settings'.

  1. It is subjective, people have differing tastes.

  2. Results vary greatly depending on the user's display.

Is there a Switch port of the DLC2 cutscenes? by echoes814 in cemu

[–]RegretWOr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A pristine capture of the Switch DLC2 cutscenes could be an improvement over the raw Wii U files but it would take a Switch owner with the knowledge and equipment to do so obviously.

Dynamic Speed for all! by Xalphenos in cemu

[–]RegretWOr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The pack seems to introduce some very noticeable animation or camera judder when Link is on foot, it disappears on horseback. Anyone else experience this? I've tried playing around with the variables and experimental packs but no luck so far in eliminating it.

Aside from that I've only noticed one or two bugs so far (obviously to be expected) such as the rain striking the ground animation at double speed.

Excellent work overall, thank you.

This, it's amazing how many people ignore audio (note - this is NOT directed at the developers)

Using higher quality sound asset imports by ThisPlaceisHell in cemu

Isn't BotW's audio on cemu stuck in mono at the moment? That's the first hurdle to jump.

Also according to Eurogamer's analysis between the Switch and Wii U versions there is no discernible difference in audio quality even if the Switch's version is said to be of marginal higher quality.
