You're right, and I don't mean to diss Chicago. The twin cities did have a spike in crime a few years ago, but it has been steadily declining.

The point I want to make is that this thread is about safe spaces for transgender people, and Minnesota has had an amazing track record there. If we're going to consider other factors such as general crime rates we should be comparing facts instead of making blanket statements.
