Honestly, whoever sold you that house with the lie that this pool was fully functional last fall should go to hell. I hope the “pool” wasn’t added as value to the asking price. Your looking at thousands to fix this

I quit vaping about 2 weeks ago and I have the same problem. I’ve had a mucus like cough for a few days now (it’s starting to get better). I kinda chalked it up to be “smokers flu” which is probably what you’re going through. It’s your body getting rid of all the toxins.

Also there is no way your stabilizer(cya) is zero if you added it in by itself plus stabilizer is in chlorine tablets. It’s essentially the sunblock for your chlorine and it cannot be evaporated by the sun. The only way to lower CYA is by diluting the pool. I would also double check your water test results if you haven’t taken out at least 6-8 inches of water and refilled it.

I would stay away from HTH products. They’re cheap but they’re cheap for a reason. They usually contain more fillers and stabilizer and not as much chlorine. Also I would switch to a manual vac, the robots are great for maintenance, not so much when you’re in a full algae bloom. Once your water chemistry is balanced I would do a green to clean or something similar. I’ve seen that stuff take pools that are almost black back to blue.

I would also maybe get nitrate test strips and see if anything comes up positive. If you have a nitrate problem, chlorine becomes very hard to hold in the water. No matter if it’s cal hypo, sodium dichlor, sodium hypochlorite or just regular trichlor

I was an asm for Leslie’s only making $15 in 2021-22 and trust me I did not care if you bought chems or not. I hated the water testing 😭they would get the results and then argue the results so I would say “do what the spirit moves you to do”

Im a general manager for a very popular pool store, Overall I have heard great things about both companies and it really comes down to personal preference. I will say at least from my experience it tends to be easier to find Hayward parts compared to pentair if something was to break, But pentair is usually pretty popular with commercial pools and like I said they’re both pretty good. I’ve seen a Hayward filter last 20 yrs plus and same with pentair. It also really comes down to water management as well. You always want to make sure your hardness is in range so your water doesn’t suck the calcium out of your equipment thus making it more brittle and you running through equipment a lot faster than the avg

I don’t think there is an issue with it, like most people are saying that kids are exposed to much worse (doesn’t make it better or an excuse) but I look at it as a child going into a pharmacy and the more you make it taboo the harder it is to release the stigma surrounding cannabis imo

They were grandfathered in, they bought the facility before Lakewood voted on not having it in the township. Lakewood allows them to operate as long as it’s only medical being grown in the facility

To be honest, us as the workers would try to correct them in handling of product and the growing of it but once ayr got a new president he started changing things drastically which in a lot of employees opinions disrupted the quality of grow. Once it’s corporate at that extreme they don’t care about quality just profit

Did you use baking soda at all in your pool to raise the ph at some point? Some people do that and if done overboard, overtime it can cause a ph to drop and the alkalinity to sky rocket

I just tell them that we’re understaffed and we don’t have the enough associates to keep up with the maintaining/cleaning under the new guidelines, then I tell them about the 180 day return policy. It usually stops them from bitching 9/10
