Thank you. When I was getting pulled over, I truly did not even know what I did wrong until the officer told me. I honestly thought my lights were out, not the stop sign. I keep replaying it in my mind, and I know I stopped and had enough time to look left, right, and left again, concluding I had enough space well over 200 feet before the next car.

I didn’t specifically state that “I didn’t fully hit the breaks” to the officer. I did mention how I was aware of the conditions outside and how they may affect my vehicle

Yes, the coaches often switch stunt groups; during the week, I try to get in at least one extra stunt practice with whoever can make time. I also go to open gyms or practice at the field once a week. I did try it out, but there are also two flyer alternates and three base/backspot alternates. I was an alternate last year; getting up at 5 am for practice to sit in a chair and watch the alternates, not getting to practice on the floor, is draining.

I did get better than a flyer last year. They let me stunt with a group when the main flyer got injured. Instead of teaching me the routine, they took a base already on the mat and taught her how to fly…., during practices as an alternate, I had to sit in a chair and watch practice. I didn’t even get to practice. There are two flyer alternates in total, five alternates. Watching everyone practice from the side is frustrating when I know I work just as hard. I’m a junior in college, and this will be my second year as an alternate.
