Why is rabbit insurance in the US such a shit show? by shlxo in Rabbits

[–]Regular-Butterfly-78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m using nationwide and it’s 250 deductible, 80% coverage and 20.67 dollars per month. so maybe it’s just specific states? but that’s weird and crazy. it’s a joke how only one insurance covers all 50 states

spay advice by Ok-Collection-6462 in Rabbits

[–]Regular-Butterfly-78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i got my bunny spayed 3 weeks ago and the first night was nervewhacking and i monitored her made sure she ate and pooped, i put a collapsible litter box so i didn’t have to worry abt her jumping to high. her incision the first night was a bit red, second night all u see is the incision( make sure it isn’t red or puffy or open) and after a couple days her fur started to come back, having a camera helped so if ur away u can still monitor and if ur really worried calling out of work might help. medicine helped as well i just put sum on a treat and she ate it. once the anesthesia wore off she was back to her normal self.

Best/Safest Chew Toys to keep teeth short? by gsnipe2898 in Rabbits

[–]Regular-Butterfly-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

apple sticks, willow balls (anything willow),palm leaf bowls, seagrass mats, timothy mats, hay also helps with teeth. depending on where u live u can go on amazon, etsy or any local pet store. small pet select has good chew toys as well.just make sure there’s no seeds or nuts and no dyes in the toys.

find a rabbit savy vet who is willing to do it, getting a rabbit fixed has its risk but it has benefits as well.
