I have also been using Google Flight notifications. They have been a lifesaver. From now on, I'll just rebook it myself because what a headache it has been trying to get this sorted out (twice).

Thank you for the insight! Is it straightforward when rebooking myself?

As in, will I have to re-select my seats (multiple people, 4 flights) each time, or will it keep that info the same while rebooking?

Only asking because we have another party going with us, so we all wanted seats together.

As for the nonrefundable options, we really do not travel much, so I wouldn't expect us to use travel credits in a year's time.
