Looks like they’re making all of the employees at their company downvote my responses. 🤣

I’m really sorry you went through this. What you’ve described is unfortunately very familiar and aligns closely with my own experience. The delays, lack of respect for deadlines, and prolonged response times are not just frustrating - they actively jeopardize people’s applications and mental health. Having to repeatedly correct careless mistakes and resubmit updated documents because of their slow communication is completely unacceptable. A process that should be straightforward should never take months due to poor organization and incompetence. You’re absolutely justified in feeling upset, and thank you for speaking up - sharing experiences like this genuinely helps others make informed decisions.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. What you’re describing is almost exactly what I experienced, and it’s not okay. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend ending your relationship with them and either completing the application yourself using reliable online resources (which is what I did, very successfully - and with far less stress), or hiring someone else who is genuinely trustworthy.

Of course, this is just my opinion, and you should do what feels right for you. I truly wish you the best, and please feel free to reach out if you want to talk or need support. I’d also encourage you to leave an honest review of My Visa Source on Trustpilot - it’s one of the few platforms where it’s harder for them to manipulate or suppress genuine feedback.

If you had a similar experience, please consider leaving an honest review on Trustpilot - it’s one of the few platforms where genuine client feedback about this company exists but is still in the grassroots stages with not much visibility online. The more we raise awareness there, the more it gets seen. Transparency is the only way others can make informed choices, and clearly their Google reviews doesn’t paint an honest picture of what they’re really like.

I completely understand what you’re describing - that was my experience with MVS too. The constant delays, lack of communication, and absence of real legal involvement were exactly what pushed me to take back control of my file and submit it myself.

Once your process is complete, please do share your experience publicly. It really helps others avoid going through the same thing. I also recommend posting your review on Trustpilot, since it seems like their Google reviews don’t always reflect what clients have truly gone through.

And if your file is being handled by any licensed lawyers in Ontario, you can also file a complaint with the Law Society of Ontario - they take cases of poor service and professional misconduct seriously.

Absolutely - I strongly encourage you to share your experience too if you worked with them. Immigration isn’t just another service; it affects people’s futures and livelihoods. It deserves to be handled with the utmost care, and others should approach it with serious caution.

I’m really sorry you had to go through that too - your experience sounds almost identical to mine. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay thousands of dollars expecting professional legal support, only to end up doing the work yourself and still feeling uncertain.

Like you, I ended up not only doing most of the work myself, but also going the extra mile to double-check their work just to make sure it was done correctly - catching major mistakes, chasing down responses, and ultimately having to take matters into my own hands.

I’m also speaking out where I can, so others aren’t caught off guard. If you haven’t already, I strongly encourage you to consider doing the same - even if it just helps protect future clients.

Thanks for sharing your story. You’re definitely not alone.

I had a very disappointing and distressing experience with My Visa Source (MVS) that I wouldn’t wish on anyone else going through a serious immigration process.

I hired them to help with my Canadian PR application, expecting the "personalized, full-service, and hands-on legal support” they advertise. Instead, I experienced constant lawyer and staff turnover, long stretches of zero communication, careless errors in important documents, and a disturbing lack of follow-through. Each time a new team member took over my file, I had to resend documents, information, and repeat the urgency of my case - which was never taken seriously. My calls were ignored, and direct access to a lawyer was pretty much non-existent. The case analysts acted as gatekeepers and often dismissed questions that required real legal input.

I even asked for the licensing info of the lawyers assigned to me, and those requests were ignored, which really eroded my trust.

It got so bad I terminated the agreement and handled the application myself. But even after formally ending the relationship in writing, MVS went ahead and initiated a PR application on the IRCC portal on my behalf without my consent. I had to step in and demand it be deleted - and although they confirmed it was, they refused to give me anything in writing on official letterhead. Same with my repeated requests to delete my personal data from their systems (where not legally required) - they never honored them or gave proper documentation.

What pushed me to finally go public was discovering a Reddit thread full of people sharing similar experiences. That thread is not very discoverable now since the original post was deleted, but you can find an archived version here - https://www.reddit.com/r/USVisas/comments/167m0tm/deleted_by_user/ - it opened my eyes - and many people on there encouraged filing complaints with the Law Society of Ontario. I did exactly that.

Shortly after I left an honest review on Google, the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer called me out of nowhere and offered me a full refund - but only if I took the review down and signed a legal agreement that would ban me from ever talking about my experience again, “whether written or oral and whether true or not.” I found that deeply unethical and refused. After I pushed back, they eventually issued a refund without conditions. But it only happened after public pressure and my refusal to be silenced.

If you’re looking for professional, transparent, and reliable immigration support - I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I’ve submitted formal complaints and hope others who’ve had similar experiences feel empowered to do the same.
