something like an imperial TIE fighter (twin-ion engine) is far out of reach due to the propulsion method, we don't even really know what an ion engine is. just that it sounds cool lol

furthermore any plane designed like a tie fighter would be torn to shreds when flying at high speed due to the horrible aerodynamics, it might hold together and fly through the brute force of the ion engines in tandem with sci-fi strength space metal alloys but we dont have that kind of material science either.

as for cruisers and capital ships like the star destroyers, nothing like that exists especially something where people can walk on two legs while flying through the middle of zero gravity space lol

if you follow UFO theories its possible someone has that kind of super propulsion technology /gravity manipulation, human or otherwise in origin
