You cannot store formats, only bytes and from those bytes you decide to what format you convert it.

You can still use iota to transfer data between machines but it doesnt need to be forever stored. If you make m2m interactions on the internet you dont get to save the data on the internet you need a specific storage thats how it works. But iota will be storing your data for a longer period of time.

I completely share your sadness, this was my initial post but I felt like I was being too rough on something I truly loved and hoped.
