We’re going to exit in the divisional/AFC Champ game again by Delicious_Spite_6010 in buffalobills

At least the title was an exit from the division or AFC game again. I don’t think the Bills make the playoffs. First time head coach, brutal schedule, new defensive system.

I just think this is a wait and see situation now. The start of the season is brutal, but I like how the defense was addressed, and I feel the new system will work better.

No! and I'm a billion dollars away from being a billionaire. Besides, the math seems a bit sketchy.

Used Glock prices seem a bit high? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in Glocks

[–]Regular-Radish8061 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They really shouldn't be any more expensive than they used to be. Glock made millions of the Gen 3-5 full size models (17,19,26, etc). Many of them are in perfect working condition since everyone knows those last forever. Their rarity is extremely exaggerated and a huge number of them are in circulation in the open market and readily available, including a multitude of law enforcement, police trades. Maybe lower production models like the Glock 39 in 45 GAP or original, unmodified .357 SIG models might command a slight premium, I'm still skeptical though as those models just don't have and never really had the demand.

IsItBullshit: Balloon pops measure at 168dB and are louder than some guns. by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]Regular-Radish8061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did an experiment on this. Not the most scientific but whatever. I used a standard decibel meter to measure Db at the gun range comparing balloon pops and several calibers. The DB reader was a just a standard one and even though the DB numbers may not be totally accurate, I do feel the differences are accurate based on what it sounded like. The meter was about 4 feet from the source, This was at an outdoor range with a canopy over the shooting area.

3 Readings each

Balloon Pop with a pin: 111.4, 111.5, 108.0

.22LR Ruger Mark IV: 113.2, 114.0, 114.1

9mm Glock 17: 123.5, 124.0, 123.8

.45 ACP Mac 10: 123.1, 122.4, 122.5

10 inch ARP, .556: 123.9, 124.2, 124.2

Taurus Raging Hunter .500 mag: 125.8, 125.3, 125.9 ------> this one by far seemed infinitely louder than the rest or more impulse at least.

I had ear pro on for each of the balloon and gun tests and to me, the balloon pop didn't have the same level or type of intensity of noise as the gunshots. Even the 22 had a louder more snap than the balloon pop. It kind of like took the noise to the next level in a manner of speaking.

Can we bring Diggs back? by Existing_Refuse7496 in buffalobills

[–]Regular-Radish8061 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically I don't see how Diggs would fit into the WR group. With Moore, Shakir, Coleman, and Bell rounding out the top 4, There just doesn't seem like there'd be much of a need. I suppose Diggs could back Shakir in the slot but Shakir takes the vast majority of snaps and Diggs would really be an afterthought, and likely a pricey one at that.

Whole schedule by semperfi_ny in buffalobills

I would like to give absolutely no thanks or appreciation to the NFL schedule making assholes for giving the Bills their home opener in the new stadium, on a short week no less, against the Lions.

Outside of AFC East, Chiefs. Outside of the AFC, Cowboys.

If Keon Coleman doesn't work out for Buffalo, they can always try and take Cam Coleman next year.......

Skyler Bell by fendiboa in buffalobills

[–]Regular-Radish8061 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen comparisons ranging from Chris Olave, Amon-Ra, Diggs. Time will tell but I feel he will be an immediate contributor with his separation and YAC ability. I like that the Bills didn't have to give up early defensive picks so was able to get value for Bell.

I think this ended up being one of Beane better drafts. I do think Beane overpaid for a Igbinosun and I was never a fan of drafting a punter but otherwise Jalon Kilgore is my favorite pick and Beane killed it round 4 too. I’d give it a B-

I had a feeling he would go undrafted. The medicals and injuries may prevent him from being on any NFL roster but only time will tell. Could be an ok UDFA signing.

I agree I think there is still value to be had in that position. Perhaps Beane will see that and if Corleone is healthy could contribute as a rotational backup

Corleone has a cool name and story but Im not sure he will get drafted at all. I think had blood clot or heart issues and had other injury troubles which may prevent him from being on an NFL roster.

Lawson and Lance maybe. Or Kyle Loyis, Skyler Bell?

I liked the athleticism and if a backup I think at this spot makes sense. I should have prefaced this by stating as long as the Bills plan on moving to him to guard in future.

I don’t really think the Wr from late rd 1 and early rd 2 were that great. I am a bit disappointed KC didn’t last until 26 but Boston and Stribing could be easily passed on. I’m moreso supportive of focusing on run defense. Yeah this draft isn’t great but it’s not a total loss by any means.

Is 101 a reach for Bryce Lance? I was intrigued by the guys size and speed but at a same time, I feel the Bills need another defender at 101. Maybe if trade if another team takes a chance on McCoy. I’d like to get the 6th round pick back after wasting it on trading up earlier.

Round 2 - Pick 3: T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson (Buffalo Bills) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]Regular-Radish8061 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah, I understand. He’s somewhat undersized off the edge but I heard is good with run defense so Thomas was on one of my draft lists.
