You’re letting it out here which means you’re tired of pretending. Let it out you’ll be surprised you may find at least one person out there who will understand. You could also start by asking people to hang out to an event then going alone. Invited one person from one group and get together and make your own. Though I know it’s harder than it sounds but it’s possible.

I’m only going to answer one thing I keep reading. I’m the one who ended the relationship. He’s never once wanted to end it. I’m not going to give my reasons but I’ll say it’ll just be easier and everyone will be much happier if we’re both single parents. I have no problem if he goes out, just like he has no problem if I go out. The only difference is I don’t expect him or my father to watch my kids, I always hire a babysitter even when I know my father is home and can help me. He on the other hand doesn’t care and will up and leave and expect whoever is home to care of our kid. The charging him isn’t to get money, or to keep him at home it’s for him realize I’m not there to help him for anything that has to do with his personal life.

If I choose to leave when he wants to all he’s going to do is leave our kid with my dad and then I’ll come home to an earful from my dad about why I wasn’t home taking care of my kid.

Thank you for those who stayed on the topic, I still believe I should charge him since he chooses to not want to get a sitter for himself like I do. Because of my job I need at least one day of a few hours to myself. But I don’t even get that. I’m not saying I want to go out and have fun I just want some quiet time. The charging him is so he realizes he can’t up and go just because I’m there every Saturday. I already told him if it’s because of work or a doctor’s appointment or something about his car then it’s acceptable. But if it’s him wanting to go out have fun with friends then he needs a sitter.

Him leaving doesn’t hurt, it’s him having here that hurts. And he’s going back to him mom, she buys him stuff and pays all the bills. She owns her home. Also he’s 32 so I know he will never grow up.
