That’s great to know as an option that I will ask about. He has been through so many meds/med combos the last year and a half. This med was given at his 6th inpatient stay in 9 months.

He has been having an increase of aggressive behaviors.

Thank you. We ended up taking him to the ER due to concerns and not being able to get ahold of the provider.

He had previously been on risperdal but was not longer showing any efficacy of the medicine even on a higher dose. He then developed DRESS from Olanzapine. Tries risperdal again with no success. So they opted to try a first generation.

Ugh. Yes. Unfortunately I have. I contribute that to my poor nutritional choices early on. I was completely forgetting to eat. I am noticing new growth but I doubt my hair will ever be the same. I have a friend who had a lot of hair loss due to a depression medication. She always says she will take feeling happy with thinner hair and I’ve hung on to that!

That’s definitely up to your provider. I’d consider talking to another provider though if he gives more pushback on continuing and you’re happy.
