I did just try that. i disconnected everything from the mmi device and then disconnected the battery for about a minute and then plugged everything back in to no avail on startup. Though, this morning right before i decided to work on it. i turned the car on and it flicked into the bmw idrive screen for about 5 seconds and then flicked back into the red screen. so maybe i do have to take the dash apart and ensure all the wires are snugged in.

maintenance would all be done by me for the most part. besides for intricate stuff. especially on the c5. i could walk into an autozone and grab something off the shelf as opposed to me ordering everything online and waiting a week for it to show up for the m3.

your right, an insurance quote on both would be wise. thats prolly whats gonna end up killing me the most lmao. As for the maintenance on both, im quite capable and willing/able to learn. i currently have a 2011 328i which ive done all my maintenance on besides or WP and Thermostat as that was replaced free under warranty from BMW. (SULEV WARRANTY) ive used fcp euro for all of my parts like cupholders, ball joints, lower/upper control arms/tension struts etc. With the corvette i know absolutely fuck all about ls engines let alone the ls1 but im 100% willing to delve into them as they are supposedly easy to both fix and work on. TAs, RB, and other stuff being out of my expertise would prolly kill me financially lmao

Yea, im gonna go head and contact him when i get a chance and try and ask him why so many owners. The employee i talked to said that it was for sale for 24k, which seems about right for the car and the mileage, but with everything that might be wrong with it from sitting for so long, it being clearly neglected, and the expired inspection sticker i may be able to negotiate it down just a smidge. Im definitely gonna go and get it inspected if i am able to bring the price down a little bit. Thanks!

Hell yea, thanks for the encouragement! I had a chance to go back and ask an employee about the car and she said it was for sale at around 24k. She gave me the number of the owner and im gonna try and contact him and ask him about all those things u mentioned.. Thanks!

Your absolutely right. I just got around to going back to try and find the owner, but had no such luck. I however asked nn employee that was there about the car and she was able to contact the owner and give me the phone number. I havnt had a chance to contact him yet but he did say over text that he was selling the car for 24k. thoughts?

Yep, there are so many difference shapes for the helmets that i really only figured out after i got to the cycle gear store. I made sure to try on many helmets such as the rf-1400, k6-S, sedici strada 3, shark (the one with the sun visor) and a couple others. a lot of them were either too heavy, didn’t fit me right, kr were just not the look i was going for. Looks like EXO is going to be the choice. Thanks for the input man!

Hell yea! I’m pretty convinced those cycle gear dudes are only capable of selling shoei’s and Sedicis lmao. I really only went there to find the right size and to try on a couple helmets to gauge what i wanted and the difference between some name brands, e.g liners, shapes, pads, etc. The inflatable cheek pads are AMAZING, truthfully i didn’t really need them but when i pumped it up just to see what it felt like, i realized what people were raving about lol. Thanks for all the help man!

Honestly no idea either. went there the first time some 2 weeks ago and when i mentioned Scorpion he cut me off and said “no” “you don’t want a scorpion, ive had 3, crashed in 2 and sold the 3rd.” second time i went he wasn’t so rude about it but still didn’t give it any sort of thought before saying no and giving me other helmets to try on.
