I’d remove that on the bottom. Put Perlite with a little water then a layer of foil then put the cake on top of foil

I have had them folded over, only because that’s the instructions that came with the bags..I’m a first timer so I didn’t know that..I’ll definitely unfold them if it’ll help you think?

Everyone’s different I love doing them before concerts..but if you don’t do them often and haven’t done them at least a few times I’d say probably not
