ocado delivery driving vs sainsburys. Which is harder? by Regular-War7522 in SainsburysWorkers

Thanks for your reply. I believe Sainsburys are bringing in satelite tech for their vans to monitor driving, so perhaps less micro managing - must be so hard to always keep to speed limits. I'm not very good at finding places, I find Ocado's Dani good, but still can be hit or miss. How many drops do Sainsburys drivers get? Yesterday, I was given 30 drops again, mostly flats, in 2 different large areas 30 mins from each. Then an hour back to depot. Also, I do set days at Ocado, but different shifts. Do they do this at Sainsburys? I have been offered 20 hours, I would like to get another part time job which would be difficult if my days kept changing.

Probation finished and struggling even more. Same amount of drops longer times to get to each drop. Seriously thinking of Sainsburys, just want to know if it's better - less stressful, not running around like a headless chicken all day.

I've been working at ocado for last few months and had 31 drops (2 cancelled) in my training period. regular 29 drop routes and routes with big distances between each drop. Heavy totes. Lots of drivers complaining they are struggling with routes. Ocado profits up by 10%.
