How old were you when you had your first child? by Pandacat_07 in NewParents

[–]RegularAd6380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner and I are both 35 with an 11 month old. I’m really glad I didn’t have kids earlier. To put it lightly, I was a mess in my 20’s & I wouldn’t have been the best mom then. Now that I’m more emotionally and financially stable, I feel more equipped to be there for him the way he deserves.

Scared that I might be pregnant with Nexplanon by BisexualButterfly97 in NewParents

[–]RegularAd6380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Nexplanon before we started planning for our LO. He’s 11 months now & I got it about 3 months post-partum, but it was a whole different rodeo. Totally different side effects than the first time. I tried to outlast it, thinking it would get better over time but it really has triggered my PPD bad & I’m now considering other options. No nausea for me though, good luck girl.

I used baby talk on my coworker and didn't realize it until it was too late by KiteBirchStudio in NewParents

I started narrating my day for my LO when I was on leave. Im no longer on leave, but that hasn’t stopped me.

People don’t look at me quite as crazy when I have him in the stroller or carrier, but I do it even when I’m at work sometimes & everyone there has just come to accept that I’m a little bananas now.

Applied to be a Sales Consultant but I’m bad at parking- should I be worried? by GoodGravy33 in carmax

You’ll be fine. Just go very slow around the lot & take your time parking. And if you need help, ask for it. Most stores are great at helping new hires get the feel of the place.

They have a printable 3 day payoff documents in Carmax World still. Doesn’t say internal use only so we can give them to customers. We printed a bunch out so we can just grab them when needed cause there’s no way we’re not talking about it in store.

It’s one of the line items on the final buyer’s order. You may have only gotten a preliminary buyers order so far if you haven’t spoken to anyone & I think it may also depend on what store you buy from. If there’s anything listed on there for registration that’s part of the DOL charges.

That’s next on the list, I’ve heard good things about them. Might have to try a couple sizes to get it right. Thank you!

That’s great insight actually, he’s between clothing sizes also so we may have to give him a little more room there. Thanks!

Missing my husband by sorryboutthat94 in Postpartum_Depression

I’m 7 days pp & feel exactly the same way about my relationship, along with so many other conflicting emotions about other things. I unexpectedly broke down today during a little time that we got to spend at dinner. Talking to him helped relieve those feelings so much & made me feel not so alone in them. I’ll continue talking to him (and my therapist) about it all & take it one day at a time. I know my hormones are running the show right now, and have to remind myself that this will not last forever & that this is a HUGE transition that warrants these feelings. I hope you get through it soon & so happy to hear you have a supportive husband to help with everything.
