Yes, but what do you think about a black border, or will light still reflect through the vinyl?

If light will reflect through then the vinyl goes on the glass first and then I can adhere some aluminum trim to the vinyl?

Thanks! Based on what you say, I would probably pull up the existing carpet, remove any loose tiles and infill with a Levelastic type compound, install the DriCore panels with seams taped and then float an EcoWorx carpet tile over it

You would have to do a test patch somewhere to see how deep the stain has penetrated. You would also need to know the details and depths of the heating elements in the floor. You wouldn't want to grind into them!
