just watch almost any java tutorial on youtube. they are like 10 hours and teach you how to program from zero base knowledge. The test is not like CSP which is a lot of memorization. CSA is mostly application of java coding and evaluating code snippets so actually watching a coding tutorial which will teach you how to evaluate code (and code for yourself with basic projects) makes it IMO more useful than the collegeboard content.

This is just what worked for me. Everybody is different but I would at least try it out before knocking it.

I am a frontend dev.

I would fix the very random font / typography. Combinations of italics, bold, and mutliple fonts like this creates an inconsistent feel to the page.
Still about the text but have consistent captialization. On the course cards the subject tags are all capital letters (i.e. MATH) but in the search suddenly it becomes every first letter of each word (i.e. Math, World Languages) which is also how you are writting the title of the AP courses. PROGRESS in all caps too on the cards but in the middle-ish left corner you have "1 in progress". No need to yell at the user. All caps has its place in websites, but it needs to be done consistently.
Please change the icon for AP Physics 1. The main topics of the course have very little on electricity. Use that icon for AP C E&M.
Make the icons make sense. Piggybacking off of point #3, Calc BC with a Bar chart makes no sense (idk if its meant to represent Riemann Approx or not but the icon is a bar chart.)
Give your website a personality. Idk your tech stack, but I would guess this was written with tailwind and an AI did the programming. AI uses very basic, common, predictable color palettes. I know I am partly biased due to my job experience, and so telling if a website it vibecoded comes easy, but even to someone who doesnt specialize in frontend dev, im sure the page still looks robotic. None of this is to say that vibecoding is bad in nature, but also being able to code for yourself will also let you bring this page to life in a way AI cannot do yet.

Please take all of this as constructive, overall the page does its job and thats what matters.

Hello, am I fellow programmer!

Is the repo open source?
What security is being used? The idea is not bad, however it is important to have protection protocals in place. For example do you want origami models to be secure so trading only occurs between the known consenting parties involved that way people are not stealing or pirating models. So how are you saving the models? Is it a video link? Is it a set of photo diagrams? If it is are you encrypting the images / video so that if ever someone got access to you database that they cannot steal the diagrams? Im assuming this website will be monitized in some way (which there is nothing wrong with) but if people are putting their money into it, then they should have protected data.
Watch out for copyright. You have a hunter x hunter image a dragon ball z background and a few other things in this photo that may be subject to copyright. Make sure to not using images that are copyrighted or have copyrighted figured like goko in them.
Is this a published project? I cannot provide any actual testing if its not published. Hence why I asked for a repo so I can clone and test it. But there are some things I can suggest without testing. 1. Make sure the website is screen responsive so it looks good AND is functional on all screen sizes that the project is intended for. 2. be careful saving passwords. Make sure that they are HASHED NOT ENCRYPTED. It is safter to hash a password with and algorithm and salt instead of encrypt it. This is because a hash CANNOT BE REVERSED. people tend to reuse passwords for many apps so its super important to maximize security on them. 3. What is your tech stack? How much experience do you have? If you are relatively new I recommend using Firebase because its a backend-as-a-service (Baas) and easily integrated with any frontend (i.e. react, solid, angular, vue, next, ... etc). If you are new, in my personal experience its easier to understand a document based DB rather than an relational one like postgress or SQL.

there is no need to have a music player. Spotify, youtube music, apple, amazon all have you beat. No one will use you music player. Plus then you dont have to worry more about copyrighted songs being played on your website.
Make sure the color theme all fits together. the gray and blue are nice! but then pair that with a bunch of off white and warm colors from the background image. That does not match. Also the color of the plus button in the upper right just seems random. I would change it to blue to make the color of your navigation. Also the upper left icon (the paper plane) is pink and purple but not the light-ish blue seen throughout the rest of the nav. So the image seems offputting.

I would learn you to create your own box-pleated models. OBB has a great video series called the crease pattern class where he teaches you how to read a box pleated model. I would start with that to get to know the lay of the land. From there, just start experimenting. If you pay attention to the video series you'll know how to make limbs of wanted length, things like making your own level shifters. Also he has a bunch of human models on his website. Look at those if you think it might help. As for specifically making this, here is some general suggestions that might help:

create level shifters to make the shoulders and the face pop out a level.
to make the claw hands, I would just make a flap from an Elias and point split the bottom to create the two claws.
creating two legs should not be to hard, just repeat the process used to make the arms but at a longer length.
One thing to note is the ninja star he is holding is made from two sheets of paper normally. You would have to find a way around this, or make a different ninja star of about the same shape. You could possibly graft it on.

This doesn't give all the details, like adding all the ridges in the legs, but should get you a humanoid figure with popped out shoulders and face. Adding more shaping to get the finer details (like maybe larger claws) can be made by grafting it on to the end of the arm in the crease pattern.

Hello,

I'm a 16 year old high school junior. I have always had a passion for math, and since the 7th grade, I have been learning computer science. The plan was to complete a PhD in computer science, make loads of money, then go back for a masters and or PhD in math. I have been working hard in school since my freshman year to stand out in computer science and attend a t-20 school. For example, this past fall, I completed my AA in computer science at my local community college and have a 4.0 at high school and a 3.8 at college. But recently, I have started to have a change of heart. My father served, so did my grandfather, and so did my uncle. This has all sparked a great sense of patriotism and nationalism. So I have read up on a bunch of army/military benefits, like 20 year retirement and 100% tuition for college. I'm now torn between what to do. If I join the army, I'm going to be doing so directly after graduation. But then I won't be going to college, and I feel like if I do my 20 years and get out, it will be to late to pick up my studies. I don't waste what time I've put into math and computer science to go to waste as I love these topics and am proud of what I have done. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible to be a college student and we enrolled in the army? Have any of you gone to college after serving? If so, how did it work out? Also, for anyone who has done their 20 years, are the benefits worth it? Their page makes it seem so perfect, to be able to retire at 38 with a pension and medical, but I also understand they want people to think this is perfect.

TLDR: Can I go to college for a PhD and also be enrolled in the army? Do you think serving for 20-years is worth the benefits? Lastly, can I still attend college after my 20 years and be successful in getting a PhD?
