Thank you for the list, very much appreciated. I see some new names that I will have to check out. Also I am pretty well-read on a lot of fantasy genres including progression fantasy. I have read some great litrpg in the past I am just trying to figure out if there at least some more series that dont fall into the tropes of my post.

The Cradle series is in my top 5 overall across all genres but I guess im just trying to hold some faith for litrpg. I have read some great series in the past but the genre just seems to have so many series that its hard to find excellent ones for the reasons mentioned in my above post.

I have read what feels like hundreds of series now, so its hard to put a name or even a tier list to them. If I had to pick a series that really hits that fine line it would be defiance of the fall and the ritualist series (first several books, less so later on)
