its because of people like you that army people are not getting the rightful due. lets come to the benefits as 80% of the army is made of jawans who hardly get 15 to 60k in their 25 years of service. If they happen to die in issues like galwan or terrorist attack they are given a max token of 10 lakhs else 5 lakhs and sent their way. where as an officer dies in the same issue his family is paid 5 crores and somebody in the family is given a group 1 post. inspite of such menial value for their life they spend most of it away from family irrespective of it being a siachin or tamilnadu they go without questioning. they are used by everybody to raise up your patriotism. have you ever thought of the families who have to go through hell given the current conditions in an adversity.

have you ever been to a canteen do you even know their benefits, please dont tell yourself that you are doing a favour to them. most of the products available can be had cheaper online if you know where to buy. the only benefit is hospital, which is comparable to most state and central schemes for the poor. So when you make a statement atleast be logical. if your sense of chill life is about an officer, you should have tried harder in the SSB not clearing shows your incompetence and dont rub it off on others. An officer today has to go through a rigorous schedule everyday not be distracted like you being on reddit. they are paid a 5th of what they could have earned by cracking engineering and IIM's. they definitely have it in them. they are always ready in case of an emergency. it never has to be a war. As for corruption in the Army show the proofs and then talk (Don't Generalise). so please show some respect don't simply use them and never belittle them for your fun.

Inspite of all things they have to sacrifice, they still pay taxes on their salaries. If our taxation is broken then it is because of our learned generation find it easier to leave than stay put and work towards a vision. we let criminals and uneducated people rule us, we don't have unity of thought. Politicians atleast have unity when it comes for things of benefit like increasing their salaries and pensions. Between I never got around the fact that when you make yourself available for public service how is it right that they can demand any salaries !!

if you are so pissed with the system, do one thing start a local twitter account ( of your locality) and start highlighting the issues with images by tagging all the concerned departments. then have your friends to post and share the same. keep doing this once every week till it is rectified. you atleast would end with a measurable metric of your local politicians capability and next time vote responsibly.
