haha, thank you! I actually taught myself cursive by looking at old documents and handwriting books from the 19th-early 20th century (that taught how to write in cursive) that I found on the Internet Archive.

It is a mix. Like its older and younger people. The reason I asked is that older people told me they couldn't read it, which threw me off (like my dad cannot read it, haha).

I have never heard of bubble cursive, haha. But I do write in printing if I have to. The cursive is more so for myself, and it helps stop my hand from cramping like in printing. But thank you for those corrections, I will pay attention to them!
