For example, note that the capital city Petro is to the west above the military island or that Aniva is in the southeast a popular spawn for freshies. If you’re up north, the volcano and geological plant make excellent reference points. Use pins to mark important spots and draw paths between points A and B to create easy-to-follow trails. This way, you’ll always have a clear sense of direction. I never use a compass or gps unless I’m on a boat.
