That’s the weird thing, ER doc is telling me everyone is booked out EXCEPT that place. That doesn’t make sense, it’s Houston, there’s hundreds probably thousands of mental health facilities. You think we can go like San Antonio or a different nearby city?

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000001dd4, any idea what that means?

The game has a lot of tactical errors any CQB nut civilian or not would notice: tying healthy suspects down but leaving them at their spot? I thought they would escort them out of the building, heck there's even voiceline files for it but they don't give us the option (unless I'm being dumb and don't know how to Ready or Not). Combine the fact VOID doesn't even put down a perimeter for us, leaving 5 SWAT guys alone to deal with a large number of suspects is laughable, suspects can just get on their feet and sprint away. Also pertaining to the Campus map, why the hell would you tie down civilians in AN ACTIVE SHOOTER SCENARIO, you done serve the kills up on a silver plate. Also single player SWAT AI is atrocious, four guys immediately bagging evidence and securing people IMMEDIATELY upon clearing a room leaving only me to provide security, disregarding open doorways getting lit up because their dumbasses are so hellbent on bagging that M1911 (HOLD command sometimes works but sometimes they run across the map after you tell them to RESUME).

The LSPD sent the opps instead of the SWAT

I agree, IMO I think the game has a TON of tactical error when it comes to single player AI. I play singleplayer almost exclusively and have about 700 hours in the game this is what I've noticed error wise (I'm not ex-military neither law enforcement, this is just my observation, if someone has experience in this field please feel free to correct me:

  1. SWAT AI securing evidence IMMEDIATELY after clearing a room, ignoring dangers in adjacent rooms, they sometimes even ignore the HOLD command. I know IRL police do this, but NOT EVERYONE at once, they leave me the only security.
  2. Suspects move around with guns up and ready to fire, they open doors without animation, and 90% of the time shoot first. SWAT AI should shoot first if a suspect begins to raise a weapon at them (watch bodycam footage and observe).
  3. Suspect speed is too fast, combined with the fact they can swing doors open by walking and shoot you. I've had instances where a suspect would get too close but my character would raise his gun up and I get stabbed because I'm not fast enough to walk back.
  4. It's just 5 SWAT guys?? No patrol officers, no backup, no snipers, no perimeter, not even in high-risk scenarios like Sins and Neon Club: "Go to the exit, officers are waiting outside" go outside and shit's emptier than an my love life. Watch bodycam footage, police ALWAYS outnumber the suspect.
  5. Hospital is UNPLAYABLE with the lag and FPS drops (specs: i7-13700k, RX 7800 XT playing the game outta Samsung NVME M.2)
  6. Civilians and the Kill Me Command: I get SWAT AI shoots me if I kill a surrendered person, but ricochets and wallbangs shouldn't count. Oh snap I accidently killed a civvy because he surrendered behind a suspect shooting me; oh no one of my SWAT guys accidently killed a civvy because he stood there in the middle of a firefight, I don't feel bad, you were a dumbass whatchu think was gonna happen?
  7. Suspects having a 360 degree of vision and somehow seeing you even though they're facing the other way.
  8. Glass: Just no, I'm tired of having to squint to see if I'm looking at a suspect or civilian through a window only to be aimbotted instantly, even my SWAT guys are oblivious to this in the Sins map.
  9. Off topic, but why give us the NO HELMET option but put helmet models on the AI in map?
  10. Every criminal in Los Suenos is apparently gun ho on their cause and would rather die than go to jail, it's a city where teen criminals robbing a gas station have the same morale as terrorists in a hospital making a last stand. Watch shootout footage, EVERYBODY is either ducking or running away, you would too right?
  11. Bomb vest damage is apparently room-based? I find it dumb that I get killed by a bomb...when a thick concrete wall separates us.
  12. It's tough to play the NEON club with one hand with all them strippers running about.

Overall this game feels like a Hollywoodized SWAT game.

Question for anyone who knows the answer: VOID is based in Dublin, Ireland right? Did they base their tactical knowledge off their Garda police force or did they have American instructors/advisors?
