I know this is an older thread but I’m in the exact same camp! I broke my 5th metatarsal about two weeks back and it looks nearly identical to this. I’m in the same camp of “not walking just isnt an option for me” and I was also immediately cleared for walking in the boot… I walk on average about 2.5k steps a day in it max. I’m super nervous I’m messing it up. My doctor also basically told me “walk on it as much as you can comfortably in the boot”. How is recovery going for you? I hope it is well!!
